Where to celebrate 4th of July

One of the most popular events in the San Francisco South Bay area, spectacular fireworks will go off and the outdoor theatre will host a concert by the San Francisco Symphony. You can even go on an evening cruise to get the best viewing spots and avoid any crowds. How about partying on a aircraft carrier? The USS Hornet hosts it's very own party with live music, food and drink and a tour around the ship.

Washington DC

Then nation's capital holds a National Independence Day Parade every year. Featuring military demonstrations, floats, bands and many more. Also, during the evening you can watch a free concert held at the Capitol fields with fireworks afterwards. A great chance for you to see famous landmarks like the White House and the Lincoln Memorial.

New York

The spectacular Macy's Fourth of July firework display is held here, with more than 75,000 fireworks. How American can it get? Coney Island hosts Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, participants will eat as many hot dogs as they can in 10 minutes.

Denver

Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park host their own fireworks display and you can spend the day riding around roller coasters and water slides. The Colorado Rockies will play the Houston Astros at Coors Fiekd followed by a massive fireworks display.
