Chloe: Hi Elliot! How did you get into American Football? Elliot: My friend already played American Football and one day he invited me along to the trails for the Leicester Falcons team, the rest is history, Chloe: How long have you been playing American Football? Elliot: I have been playing for 2 seasons now! Chloe: Which American team do you support and which player do you most admire? Elliot: I support the team Atlanta Falcons and the player I most admire would have to be the Atlanta Falcon's Julio Jones, a fellow wide receiver. Chloe: What position do you play? Elliot: The position I play is wide-receiver, an offensive position. My main job as wide receiver is to catch passes from the quarterback and avoid, outmanoeuvre, or simply outrun defenders. Chloe: How often do you train? Elliot: I train once a week with the Leicester Falcons, as well as 3 gym sessions during the week. Chloe: What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve faced on the pitch so far? Elliot: The biggest challenge I've faced on the pitch to date would have to be the one-on-ones with our own defence in training. Leicester Falcons really are one of the best in the UK and they can easily push you off your route. Chloe: What has playing American Football taught you? Elliot: Playing and being part of team has taught me how to be quick, smart and the importance of knowing and being aware of your surroundings at all times.
